Sharing a Removable Disk Drive
Removable disk drives (such as USB memory sticks or external hard disk drives connected through USB) are another type of device that you can share on your network. Sharing such devices is relatively easy—simply follow the instructions found in the “Using Advanced Sharing to Share Your Folders or Partitions” section in Chapter 7, “Sharing Libraries and Folders.”
Unfortunately, sharing disk drives of any type cannot be done using the simple Sharing Wizard found in Windows 7. You can only share them by using Advanced Sharing.
